Flat-soled walking shoes are a must, as they are safer, don’t damage historic wood floors, and are much more comfortable for strolling the uneven historic streets and sidewalks of Annapolis.
You are invited to take pictures of the exterior of tour houses, but please refrain from taking pictures inside.
Please remember to be respectful of private property. Refrain from touching walls, furniture or any decorative objects.
Please be aware that private homes are not handicap-accessible and wheelchairs cannot be accommodated in private historic homes.
Member’s Only House One house on the tour will be reserved for Foundation members only. To enter the home, you must have an Annapolis by Candlelight button that identifies you as a member. If you are not already a member, we encourage you to consider joining. In addition to benefits such as the member’s only house, members also get discounts on all Foundation events. You may become a member by calling 410-267-8146 – be sure to indicate that you have already purchased Candlelight tickets and you are upgrading so you can view the Members Only House.
