The Museum Store, at 77 Main Street, once stored provisions for local troops during the Revolutionary War. Burned in 1790, it was rebuilt around 1810. It was typical of the warehouses that lined the waterfront at that time.
The Museum Store is open to the public daily. Come in to browse a wide selection of books, delight in boats of all sizes for any collector, check out lovely sea glass jewelry, or purchase a tasteful gift or souvenir.

At HistoryQuest, our location for tour tickets and information located at 99 Main Street, we are proud to offer fine selections from Fleming's Bake Shop.
Richard Fleming was the tenant of 99 Main Street when it burned to the ground in January of 1790 – taking the entire block with it. Records show that Fleming was operating a bakery at the site at the time of the fire. The Historic Annapolis Foundation has transformed the former gift shop at HistoryQuest into Fleming’s Bake Shop where private label baked goods and foods, along with cookbooks and a multitude of cooking tools, gadgets and gifts are available for purchase.
