Guided Tours of Historic Homes

Begin your Annapolis adventure here, with a guided tour to one of Annapolis’s most historic homes, the William Paca House and Garden.

William Paca House and Garden
The restored home of William Paca, signer of the Declaration of Independence and Revolutionary-era Governor of Maryland, stands today as one of the most elegant landmarks in Annapolis. Guided tours of the house take place hourly on the half-hour. Visitors can take a self-paced tour of the garden at any time during opening hours. The House & Garden also offer a uniquely beautiful outdoor space for weddings and other special occasions, as well as an indoor meeting facility.

Open from 10am-5pm Monday-Saturday and 12pm-5pm on Sunday.
Full House Tours held every hour on the half hour. (45 mins)
First Level House Tours held every hour. (30 mins)

Whitehall Historic House Tours
Guided tours of Governor Horatio Sharpe’s Palladian inspired country house, built circa 1764 will be offered 12:30 pm– 3:30 pm. Whitehall Plantation is only 7.5 miles to the east of Annapolis. It features elaborate original interior woodwork and is a National historic Landmark. Truly an architectural gem that has rarely been open to the public!
