You are here: Home > Support > Volunteer Program > Internships Explore Our Internship OpportunitiesInternship opportunities are available in all areas of Historic Annapolis's work.
Interns work closely with our staff members, participating in diverse and challenging projects that help to further our mission. They have an opportunity to learn firsthand about the history of Annapolis and the administration of a nonprofit organization.
All internships have a requirement of 120 hours over a period of 12-15 weeks, or between 10 to 15 hours a week on site work over a period of about 3 months. Internships are non-paid. The required time commitment allows for students to be eligible for a class credit internship at most universities/colleges.
Volunteers interested in gaining experience in historical research, museum collections, and non-profit marketing are welcome year round with a reduced time commitment.
