Bedlam in the Tavern and at Sea - SOLD OUT

Enjoy an evening of colonial music and tavern dining with Historic Annapolis and the accomplished musicians and singers of the musical group "Bedlam". This interactive musical presentation offers an introduction to the popular tavern and pirate music of the colonial era through voices, hammered dulcimer, guitar, percussion, and woodwinds.
For this performance, Bedlam has selected music that highlights the sea, with pirate songs such as "The Coasts of High Barbary" and drinking songs such as "The Antedeluvians Were All Very Sober" that was composed by Benjamin Franklin!

You can join in the fun with toastings and sing-a-longs - and yes, pirate or colonial garb is welcome!

This evening of fun and music supports HA's Living History Education Programs at Hogshead.
About Our Presenters:
The musical group Bedlam, founded in 1989, is a locally based ensemble specializing in music of the 17th to 19th centuries. Through voices, hammered dulcimer, guitar, percussion, and woodwinds, the group provides a current interpretation of vocal and instrumental music of that era.
