Behind the Scenes Architectural Tour at George Washington's Mount Vernon - Preservation Circle
Date: October 10, 2016
George Washington acquired Mount Vernon in 1754 and over the next 45 years slowly enlarged the dwelling to create the 21-room residence we see today. Washington personally supervised each renovation and selected architectural features that expressed his status as a gentleman and, eventually, as a leader of the new nation. Mount Vernon Director of Architecture Thomas Rindhart will lead an in-depth, after-hours, behind-the-scenes tour of this National Landmark. This event is open exclusive to Preservation Circle Members
Cost: $100 Exclusively for Preservation Circle
