The Historic Annapolis Bus Trip to the 2019 Philadelphia Flower Show is currently SOLD OUT.
Join Historic Annapolis on an exclusive day trip to the 190th Pennsylvania Horticulture Society Philadelphia Flower Show. Arrive by deluxe motor coach and spend the day taking in the colors, smells and textures of the exhibits across ten acres of garden and landscape space.
The theme of this year’s show is Flower Power, and displays will feature work by florists from around the world, showcasing how flowers brighten and inspire our daily lives.
Presenting a horticulture talk on the way to Philadelphia will be Christine Price-Abelow, the lead Horticulturist at the Smithsonian’s National Museum of the American Indian, where she is responsible for the daily maintenance and long range planning of this native landscape. She has been working for the Smithsonian for over 20 years, with seven years at the National Zoo and the last thirteen years with Smithsonian Gardens and earned her horticulture degree from Virginia Tech. Over the years she has judged The Boston Flower and Garden Show and The Maryland Home and Garden Show. Prior to joining the Smithsonian, she worked in landscape maintenance and retail garden center/ nursery sales.
Reservations are required by February 25.
Cost: $80 General Admission; $75 for HA Garden Volunteers; $70 for Garden Circle Members.
Fee includes luxury motor coach transportation to the Pennsylvania Convention Center and admission to the Flower Show.
