The event will be held on December 17 from 4pm to 7pm. Admission to the Holiday Open House is free for Historic Annapolis members and $10 general admission, which includes both sites. Holiday activities and light refreshments will be included. Reservations are not required, but are encouraged and can be made at www.annapolis.org.
At the William Paca House, several reenactors will be present during the open house for guests to interact with. Mrs. Paca herself will be present to welcome guests into her home, which will be decorated with traditional 18th century holiday decorations. This event is a holiday favorite for many Annapolitans. It is an opportunity to spend time in the beautiful, historic Paca House as well as to learn more from the very knowledgeable living historians. Laughter, games, music, and sweet treats will fill the house for this festive occasion.
This is a terrific chance for visitors to explore the William Paca House outside of a scheduled tour and to experience the house decorated as it might have been when the Pacas themselves celebrated Christmas there.
