Mr. Paca's Garden Storytime: "How Did That Get In My Lunchbox?"

Date: Tuesday, September 21, 2021

Location: William Paca House and Garden, 186 Prince George Street

Time: Program, 10 - 11 am; Garden Time, 11 - 11:30 am

Join us on select Tuesday mornings for storytime and fun activities in the William Paca Garden, a secret treasure in the Historic District of Annapolis. Each program is designed for little ones (4-7 years) with a book reading, song, craft/art project, and free time in the garden. How-Did-That-Get-In-My-Lunchbox

Did you ever wonder where the food comes from that is in your lunchbox? Some foods come from above or below ground. We will look at where the food comes from in our lunchboxes and then we will visit Farmer Ben in Mr. Paca’s Garden, where we will harvest carrots! 

Cost: $10 per Child and $5 per Adult for General Admission; $8 per Child and Free for Adults for HA Members and Volunteers; $5 per Child and Free for Adults for Family Circle Members

Please Note: An adult must accompany their child(ren) for the entirety of the program; garden time is not supervised by staff. Activities are held outdoors on the tented terrace at the William Paca House & Garden. In the event of inclement weather, the activities will be held inside, and all participants over the age of 3 will be required to wear a mask. Masks are optional outdoors. Hand sanitizer is always available, and if you are feeling sick, please stay home.

  • Masks are required for visitors (ages 3 and up) while inside the Paca House. When you are outdoors, masks are encouraged, but not required.
  • Hand sanitizer will be available for your use.
  • By entering the William Paca Garden, you are affirming that:
    • You have not been in contact with anyone who is either confirmed or suspected of being infected with COVID-19 in the last 10 days, and
    • You are not currently sick, nor have you experienced symptoms of COVID-19 within the last 10 days.
