Veterans Appreciation Day

On Veterans Day, we are honored to thank those who have served our country for their sacrifice and bravery. Historic Annapolis is pleased to invite veterans to visit the William Paca House and Garden and the Maryland State House on Veterans Day.
William Paca House and Garden, 186 Prince George Street
10 am - 5 pm
An experienced docent will lead you through the home and garden of William Paca, a signer of the Declaration of Independence. As you walk through this National Historic Landmark, your guide will share the stories of all the people who lived and labored in the home and garden.
Or, take a self-guided stroll through the restored two-acre 18th century English garden. A map and route will be provided for you to explore the idyllic parterres, physic and kitchen gardens, and wilderness garden. Plus, visit HA's newest exhibit, We Hold These Truths: Maryland's Signers and the Declaration of Independence.
Advance registration recommended. Guided tours offered at 10:30 am, 11:30 am, 12:30 pm, 1:30 pm, 2:30 pm, and 3:30 pm. Face masks are required inside the William Paca House.
Cost: Free for Veterans; $12 General Admission; $7 Child (3-17); Free for HA Members and children under 3
Maryland State House, 100 State Circle
10 am - 1 pm
Bring your family to the Maryland State House and enjoy a curated, guided experience of the special exhibition, Founding Freedoms: The Essential American Documents. An HA volunteer will be there to welcome you and your family and guide you through the exhibit.

Photo ID required for entry, face masks are required inside the State House.
