Virtual Lecture - Maryland's Four SignersDate: Tuesday, June 28, 2022 Location: Zoom Virtual Lecture Time: 7:30 pm (EST) Four Marylanders—William Paca, Samuel Chase, Charles Carroll of Carrollton, and Thomas Stone—were among the 56 men who signed the Declaration of Independence in 1776, and each of them lived in Annapolis at one time or another. Historic Annapolis Senior Historian Glenn E. Campbell profiles the four Maryland patriots who pledged their lives, fortunes, and sacred honor in support of American independence. This talk complements the thought-provoking exhibit We Hold These Truths: Maryland’s Signers and the Declaration of Independence, now on display at the William Paca House and Garden.
