8 Ways to Savor Annapolis this September
Date: Foodie Annapolis, September 8, 2016, Darin Gilliam
September is Bourbon Heritage Month! As a bourbon drinker, this is an exciting month for me! In recent years, I’ve enjoyed getting to know more about the drinks I enjoy – their history, how their made and the best ways to drink them. Annapolis has become a great town for a great cocktail. Restaurants and bars likeTsunami, Level and Metropolitan have crafted perfect cocktails for the bourbon drinker.
This month, Dry 85 will be introducing independent bourbon brand, Angels’ Envy, to the public and William Paca House and Garden will be hosting Blazers, Bourbon and Cigars, which includes a private tasting of Maker’s Mark.
Dry85 | Angel’s Envy Pop-Up

“Angel’s Envy is what happens when 200 years of bourbon tradition meet an independent master craftsman’s instinct to improve. It’s a total return to the art of craft-first, hand blended batches of 8 to 12 barrels at a time.” Get to know the brand and the bourbon on September 14 and 15 at Dry 85 at 193 Main Street in Downtown Annapolis.

CHEF’S TABLE DINNER SERIES
Chef’s table events have truly become my favorite foodie events and they have become increasingly popular for a reason. If you’re like me, you see chef’s as culinary rock stars! Experiencing and savoring a meal only becomes better when the person who created it is giving you the in’s and out’s on how it was made. This month Chef Zack Mills of Wit & Wisdom in Baltimore will be teaming up with Chef Josh Brown of Fox’s Den to create an amazing meal inspired by Vietnamese street food.
Fox’s Den | Chef’s Table Dinner Series w/ Chef Zack Mills
After the success of our first two Chef’s Table Dinners: “Aquacultures” and “Mediterranean Mezze”; seats for our next dinner are going fast! “Vietnamese Communal Table”, the third dinner in our Chef’s Table Dinner Series, will be Tuesday, September 20th. Chef Zack Mills of Wit & Wisdom in Baltimore will be teaming up with Chef Josh Brown of Fox’s Den to create an amazing meal inspired by Vietnamese street food. A portion of the proceeds from this dinner will go to Chef Mills’ chosen charity, the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation – Maryland Chapter.
*This even has recently sold out. Keep up with Foodie Annapolis and Fox’s Den for the next Chef’s Table Dinner Series.
