City Dock Action CommitteeHistoric Annapolis is seeking to develop a more compatible solution to revitalizing City Dock in a manner that suits the needs of both residents and visitors without compromising the integrity of the historic district. In response to the National Trust for Historic Preservation’s designation of City Dock as an endangered site in 2018, we have been working with the City, our partnering organizations, and other stakeholders to craft a preservation-based city planning solution for the City Dock area. Burtis House Feasibility Study
As part of these efforts, Historic Annapolis and the National Park Service, Chesapeake Office partnered to develop a feasibility study for the Captain William H. Burtis House, which was released in March 2021. Read the report here.
