In this hands-on STEAM program\, we explore that relationship\, both historical and current\, while uncovering the science that keeps boats afloat and sails full of wind. \nIn this session\, students will create boats and test out buoyancy\, stability\, sail power\, and steering. This program will have you thinking like both a historian and an engineer! \nThis session is for elementary students from 9:30am-11:00am. A separate session will be offered for Middle/High School students from 12:00-1:30pm. \nCost: $10 per student. One adult chaperone per family is free. $10 per each additional adult. \n \n  \n  \nAccessibility: This event takes place in the William Paca Garden on our tented\, brick terrace.
