Each program is designed for little ones\, 3-7 years\, with a book reading\, song\, and craft/art project\, plus time to explore the Paca Garden following the story hour. \n“The Pout-Pout Fish” by Deborah Diesen \nThe Pout-Pout fish is a very unhappy fish\, because he believes that his only role is to frown and spread sadness to those around him. As he glides through the ocean\, many sea creatures attempt to encourage him to smile and embrace happiness. Despite their efforts\, the Pout-Pout fish insists that he is stuck in his ways and nothing will ever change. \nDiscover what unfolds when the Pout-Pout fish sees a beautiful fish he’s never seen before. \nJoin us for a delightful time filled with a unique craft\, singing and dancing. We’ll also enjoy some time in our lovely garden. \nGeneral Admission:  $5 Adults\, $10 Children\, HA Members and Military: Adults FREE\, $8 Children \n \nAdvance registration required\, space is limited. \n Please Note: An adult must accompany their child(ren) for the entirety of the program; garden time is not supervised by staff. Activities are held outdoors on the tented terrace at the William Paca House & Garden when possible. In the event of inclement weather\, the activities will be held inside in our conference room. Masks are optional; hand sanitizer is always available\, and if you are feeling sick\, please stay home. From a great-grandmother who plays an organ at church to an aunt who plays vibes with a jazz combo. She tries out lots of instruments so she can play with her whole family! Do you enjoy music? Do you play an instrument? Do you know anyone who does? Join us on our beautiful terrace as we share a story about a family of music-loving musicians! When a brother and sister set out to become the ultimate surprisers for their dad\, the first step is to keep him unaware of their plans. They cleverly disguise their helpful guide and tuck it away among books that their father is unlikely to read. With their mom’s assistance in organizing everything\, they occasionally divert their dad’s attention with a silly dance. Come along as we uncover the delightful surprises the trio has planned for their dad!
