DESCRIPTION:Celebrate the legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King\, Jr. at the Museum of Historic Annapolis as we share our community’s diverse history and the continuing quest for equity and justice for all. Explore Annapolis: An American Story and enjoy special activities: \n\nTake our NEW tour\, Race and Rights Guided Tour of the Museum\, offered at 11:30 am and 2 pm (advance registration recommended) \n\nThis 50-minute guided tour\, led by historian Briayna Cuffie\, highlights the powerful contributions of African American community leaders in shaping the city’s history. Explore their impact on local life\, landmark court cases\, and pivotal legislation that advanced civil rights in Annapolis and beyond.\n\n\nLearn about local Black history throughout our exhibition Annapolis: An American Story\nMake your own Freedom Bell craft\nTake a break in our Anne Arundel County Public Library Book Nook with a curated selection of children’s books about Dr. Martin Luther King\, Jr.\n\nDrop-in anytime during program hours. See schedule of events for specific activities. Advanced registration recommended\, but not required. All activities are included with Museum admission. \nCost: $7 General Admission (8+); FREE for HA Members\, Children 7 and under\, and SNAP/WIC recipients through Museums for All \n \n  \n\nAccessibility Considerations: An accessible entrance is available\, located to the right of the building’s main entrance. All levels of the Museum\, including the restrooms\, are accessible via the elevator. KultureCity® Sensory Bags are available for visitors with sensory sensitivities or challenges with sensory regulation.  \nCancellation and Refund Policy: Historic Annapolis reserves the right to cancel or alter any programs.
