Mr. Paca’s Garden Storytime is a fun hour full of reading and activities in the William Paca Garden, a secret treasure in the Historic District of Annapolis. Each program is designed for little ones, 3-7 years, with a book reading, song, and craft/art project, plus time to explore the Paca Garden following the story hour.
This Week’s Book: One Little Lot – The 1-2-3s of an Urban Garden by Diane C. Mullen
In a bustling, urban neighborhood, count the ways one little lot becomes a beautiful community vegetable garden. A community unites to clean up an abandoned lot. From building planter boxes to pulling weeds to planting seeds, everyone works together to transform the lot into a bountiful vegetable garden. As the garden grows, strangers become friends, eventually sharing in a special feast with the harvest they grew. We’re celebrating Earth Day by continuing with our Year of the Garden theme! Accompany us on our stunning historic garden terrace for a special Earth Day craft!
Advance registration required, space is limited.
Cost: $10 per Child and $5 per Adult for General Admission; $8 per Child and Free for Adults for HA Members and Military
