Mr. Paca’s Garden Storytime is a fun hour full of reading and activities in the William Paca Garden, a secret treasure in the Historic District of Annapolis. Each program is designed for little ones, 3-7 years, with a book reading, song, and craft/art project, plus time to explore the Paca Garden following the story hour.
This Week’s Book: The Bug Girl by Sophia Spencer and Margaret McNamara
Our theme is bugs! Real-life 7-year-old Sophia Spencer was bullied for loving bugs until hundreds of women scientists rallied around her. Now, Sophie tells her inspiring story that celebrates women in science, bugs of all kinds, and the importance of staying true to yourself. What is an “entomologist?” Don’t know? Come find out! Become a “bug detective” as we search for bugs and insects in Mr. Paca’s historic garden!
Advance registration required, space is limited.
Cost: $10 per Child and $5 per Adult for General Admission; $8 per Child and Free for Adults for HA Members and Military
