Mr. Paca’s Garden Storytime is a fun hour full of reading and activities in the William Paca Garden, a secret treasure in the Historic District of Annapolis. Each program is designed for little ones, 3-7 years, with a book reading, song, and craft/art project, plus time to explore the Paca Garden following the story hour.
This Week’s Book: Mama Seeton’s Whistle by Jerry Spinelli
Mama Seeton’s whistle to her family is heard throughout the neighborhood. Her children run home for dinner, chocolate cake, and kisses. Time passes and they travel farther and farther away from the familiar sound. Can mama’s whistle be heard all over the world, and bring her children home one more time? Join in as we create a charming craft for Mother’s Day and a special craft for Military Spouses Day! We’ll also visit Farmer Ben in our historic 2-acre English garden.
Advance registration required, space is limited.
Cost: $10 per Child and $5 per Adult for General Admission; $8 per Child and Free for Adults for HA Members and Military; $5 per Child and Free for Adults for Family Circle Members
Please Note: An adult must accompany their child(ren) for the entirety of the program; garden time is not supervised by staff. Activities are held outdoors on the tented terrace at the William Paca House & Garden when possible. In the event of inclement weather, the activities will be held inside in our conference room. Masks are optional; hand sanitizer is always available, and if you are feeling sick, please stay home. This program does not include snacks due to food allergies; food is not permitted in the garden.
