William Paca Garden Hours

The William Paca Garden is currently open to the public!

At this time, the William Paca House remains closed for tours.


Garden Hours:

Wednesday through Saturday: 10 am – 2:30 pm
     Guided tours offered at 10 am, 11 am, 12 pm, and 1 pm.

Sunday: 12 pm – 4 pm
     Guided tours offered at 1 pm and 2 pm.

The Paca Garden is closed on Mondays and Tuesdays. 
Please note: video availability, hours and tour schedule may be subject to change due to weather and special events. 


Admission Fees:

Choose from two admission options: garden entry for a self-guided garden stroll and (map and route provided) or garden entry with a docent-led guided tour through the garden. 

Begin or end your visit by viewing a new 30-minute video tour of the William Paca House and Garden on our open-air terrace. 

Self-Guided Tour Admission Fees:
General Admission - $10
Children (3-17) - $5
Historic Annapolis Members - Free

Guided Tour Admission Fees:
General Admission - $15
Children (3-17) - $5
Historic Annapolis Members - $10

William Paca Garden Guided Tour*
An expert garden guide will lead you through the two-acre 18th century English garden sharing insights about the unique native plantings, interesting garden design, amazing history of the home and garden of William Paca, a signer of the Declaration of Independence, and the stories of the people who lived and labored here. Enjoy the idyllic parterres, physic garden, and wilderness garden as you explore this oasis of natural beauty in the heart of downtown Annapolis. 


*Guided tours are limited to 6 people. Please Note: You and your guests may be mixed with other groups, with a maximum number of 6 persons on the tour. If you prefer a private tour for your group of 6 or less, please call 410.267.7619 to schedule.

Availability of guided and self-guided tours are subject to cancellation due to weather conditions. If we cancel your tour or visit, your fee will be returned.
 


Historic Annapolis's primary concern is the health and safety of our visitors, staff, and volunteers. We have increased cleaning and disinfecting frequencies and monitor the health of staff and volunteers daily. In order to ensure a safe visit for you, our guests, the following policies are in effect for all who visit the William Paca Garden:

  • Facial coverings are required.
  • Hand sanitizer will be available for your use.
  • Access to the Paca Garden will be limited in numbers based on the guidelines provided by the City of Annapolis and Anne Arundel County.
  • Please observe social distancing guidelines and stay 6 feet apart from other visitors.
  • By entering the William Paca Garden, you are affirming that:
    • You have not been in contact with anyone who is either confirmed or suspected of being infected with COVID-19 in the last 14 days,
    • You have not traveled to a restricted area under a level 2, 3 or 4 Travel Advisory according to the U.S. State Department within the last month, and
    • You are not currently sick, nor have you experienced symptoms of COVID-19 within the last 14 days.
