Mr. Paca’s Garden Storytime: Home Is…

Mr. Paca’s Garden Storytime is a fun hour full of reading and activities in the William Paca Garden, a secret treasure in the Historic District of Annapolis. Each program is designed for little ones, 3-7 years, with a book reading, song, and craft/art project.

This Week’s Book: Home Is… by Hannah Barnaby and Frann Preston Gannon

What makes a home home? From mountain to sea, meadow to tree, small town to big city, people and animals make their homes all over the world. Some are forever while some change with the seasons, but all are just right for the creatures who live in them. Can you find where the animals live in our historic eighteenth-century garden? Join us in creating a unique animal habitat craft – AND bring your favorite stuffed animal!

Advance registration required, space is limited and the series books fast!

Cost: $10 per Child and $5 per Adult for General Admission; $8 per Child and Free for Adults for HA Members and Military

Please Note: An adult must accompany their child(ren) for the entirety of the program; garden time is not supervised by staff. Activities are held outdoors on the tented terrace at the William Paca House & Garden when possible. In the event of inclement weather, the activities will be held inside in our conference room. Masks are optional; hand sanitizer is always available, and if you are feeling sick, please stay home. This program does not include snacks due to food allergies; food is not permitted in the garden.
