Historic Annapolis envisions itself as a champion of preservation advocacy as a means to preserve, protect, and connect the city of Annapolis for those desiring to experience all it offers. Our organization undertakes several initiatives to preserve the city and advocate in its best interest through our:
- Historic Building Marker Program
- Easement Program
- Comments to the Historic Preservation Commission (HPC) (Learn more about the HPC)
- Preservation and maintenance of historic buildings
- Lectures and workshops focusing on preservation issues
As an advocate for preservation, Historic Annapolis listens to the community and, in turn, hopes to work together in preserving and protecting our community so that others may connect with the unique experiences this city offers.
