Marketing Specialist

Historic Annapolis (HA) seeks a creative and enthusiastic storyteller as our Marketing Specialist. Reporting to the Vice President, Communications, the successful candidate is responsible for executing marketing strategies to promote awareness of and engagement with HA’s brand, events, and properties. The role involves managing our social media and digital marketing campaigns, and creating compelling content to enhance brand visibility, drive growth, and engage our target audiences.

RFP: AUDIT AND TAX SERVICES

Historic Annapolis, Inc. (HA) is seeking proposals from qualified Certified Public Accounting firms to audit its consolidated financial statements (for HA, Inc and Port of Annapolis) for the fiscal year ending June 30, 2026. Historic Annapolis, Inc. is the leading non-profit preservation and history organization for the city of Annapolis, Maryland. Port of Annapolis is a dormant for-profit organization, the majority of which is owned by HA.

RFP: GALA PLANNING AND EVENT MANAGEMENT

Historic Annapolis, Inc. (HA) invites qualified event planning and production firms to submit proposals for compregensive planning, creative development, and logistical management services for HA’s 75th Anniversary Gala. The selected partner will collaborate closely with HA leadership, staff, and volunteer leadership to conceptualize, plan, and execute a sophisticated and mission-driven anniversary celebration that reflects the prestige and impact of the organization while creating a memorable guest experience.

Internship Opportunities

Historic Annapolis offers a limited number of internships for undergraduate and graduate students. As part of a collaborative team, interns gain valuable professional and educational experience in departments across Historic Annapolis. Working closely with museum and preservation professionals, interns gain practical knowledge and skills. Students have a unique opportunity to participate in their department’s ongoing work and complete specific projects while supporting the organization’s mission.
