Consultant - heritage tourism ambassador training program

Historic Annapolis is seeking qualifications from experienced consultants or consultant teams to design, develop, and pilot a comprehensive Heritage Tourism Ambassador Training Program for Annapolis and Anne Arundel County. This program will serve local visitor-facing professionals, including museum staff, hospitality workers, retail employees, tourism companies, business owners, and volunteers, who play a critical role in shaping the visitor experience throughout the region.
This initiative will strengthen heritage tourism by equipping frontline professionals with the knowledge and skills needed to share our region’s historical, cultural, natural, and recreational resources with visitors and inspire them to take part in all that Annapolis and Anne Arundel County has to offer.

Vice President, Preservation

Historic Annapolis seeks a Vice President of Preservation to oversee programs that focus on property management, historic preservation, and preservation policy and advocacy specific to protecting the historic character of Annapolis. Alongside the President & CEO and Board of Trustees, the VP of Preservation is a public advocate and spokesperson for HA’s preservation-related programs and provides outreach and education working closely with the Annapolis Historic Preservation Commission (HPC) and other partnering organizations/agencies.

Internship Opportunities
Historic Annapolis offers a limited number of internships for undergraduate and graduate students. As part of a collaborative team, interns gain valuable professional and educational experience in departments across Historic Annapolis. Working closely with museum and preservation professionals, interns gain practical knowledge and skills. Students have a unique opportunity to participate in their department’s ongoing work and complete specific projects while supporting the organization’s mission.
