Paca Garden Guided Tour

Potted flowers and manicured pathways lead through the William Paca Garden, a serene retreat behind the historic Paca House in Annapolis.Join us for a guided garden tour of the Paca Garden, a beautifully restored colonial English garden. A knowledgeable docent will share its history from its Revolutionary beginnings during the time of William Paca, signer of the Declaration of Independence, to today.

Explore the two-acre terraced landscape and formal parterres, as well as the wilderness garden, kitchen and medicinal gardens, and orchard. Along the way, you’ll see features such as the fishpond and the Summerhouse folly and learn about the garden plants, wildlife, and ongoing care.

Advance registration recommended, space is limited. Walk-ins will be accommodated only as space permits.

Accessibility: This event takes place in the William Paca Garden. Entry to the Paca Garden includes wooden steps or our brick driveway ramp. The upper portion of the Paca Garden can be accessed via a brick ramp with handrails. The pathways are loose pea gravel. The lower garden levels are accessed by wooden or stone steps. An indoor, single-use accessible restroom can be accessed via a ramp. KultureCity® Sensory Bags are available for visitors with sensory sensitivities or challenges with sensory regulation.
