Location: Tour begins at the William Paca House, 186 Prince George Street

Celebrate Preservation Month as we explore the historic city of Annapolis through HA’s Historic Marker Program.

Established in 1967, our Historic Marker program acknowledges and encourages good stewardship and preservation of historic structures of Annapolis. The octagonal markers are hand-painted in seven distinctive colors that represent different architectural periods or styles.

On this guided walking tour, you will examine the range of architectural styles found in the city and take a closer look at some outstanding examples of these styles among buildings you may know well or may not have noticed before.
