Date: Tuesday, August 6, 2024

Location: William Paca House & Garden, 186 Prince George Street

Time: 10:00 am (EDT) - 11:00 am (EDT)

Mr. Paca’s Garden Storytime is a fun hour full of reading and activities in the William Paca Garden, a secret treasure in the Historic District of Annapolis. Each program is designed for little ones, 3-7 years, with a book reading, song, and craft/art project, plus time to explore the Paca Garden following the story hour.

This Week’s Book: Rosa’s Sunflower Experiment by Jessica Spanyol

Rosa’s group of friends want to learn all about growing their own sunflowers! The industrious team of children fill pots with soil, tenderly
plant seeds and then carefully label and position their plants. As they go along, they research and discuss the process – how seeds germinate, what they need to thrive and how they will benefit the insect community. Eventually their efforts pay off and they can admire their row of glorious golden sunflowers. We will visit Farmer Ben for a fun time in the garden!

Advance registration required, space is limited.

Cost: $10 per Child and $5 per Adult for General Admission; $8 per Child and Free for Adults for HA Members and Military
