Celebrate a Colonial Holiday with Historic Annapolis! Step back in time and ring in the season with a festive afternoon of yuletide cheer at the William Paca House and the Hogshead Trades Museum!
It’s the year 1775 and Christmas is coming to colonial Annapolis! Discover how the holidays were celebrated in early America through music, storytelling, and timeless traditions the whole family will enjoy.
Your Colonial Yuletide admission includes access to both historic sites. Begin your journey at either location!
Cost: $15 General Admission; $10 for HA Members and Military; $5 for Children (ages 3-17, free for 2 and under)
Advance registration for timed entry recommended; timed entry offered every half hour between 2 pm and 5 pm. Walk-ups will be accommodated only as space permits.
William Paca House and Garden
186 Prince George Street
- Join in the fun as Annapolis Living Historians bring the elegant Georgian mansion to life with laughter, games of chance, spirited gossip, and political buzz from the Revolutionary era. Enjoy a 30-minute guided tour through candlelit rooms adorned with luminaries, festive garlands, and colonial holiday charm.
- NEW THIS YEAR! Visit Santa Claus in the charming Summer House nestled within the Paca Garden (2 pm – 5 pm)
Enjoy colonial music with the accomplished musicians and singers of Bedlam.- Create your own holiday craft and partake of seasonal refreshments.
Accessing this location requires ascending and descending several flights of stairs. Visitors with limited mobility can access parts of this program via the driveway of the Paca House.
Hogshead Trades Museum
43 Pinkney Street
Welcome yule at “Hogshead Tavern” on Pinkney Street for festive fun with live colonial music, sweet treats and warm spiced cider.- Visit with the local tradespeople and learn how Annapolitans from all walks of life prepared for the festive season!
Accessing this location requires ascending a flight of stairs.
