Celebrate Women’s History at the Museum of Historic Annapolis

Visit the Museum of Historic Annapolis and celebrate Women’s History – and the power of women! We’ll be welcoming special living historians and highlighting the contributions of women to the shaping of our nation.

All activities are included with Museum admission.

  • Meet Camp Followers from the Revolutionary War – Learn from living history interpreters about the key role of women during the war for independence.
  • Meet a Suffragist – Hear from a living history interpreter about the courageous fight for women’s voting rights! 
  • Explore the Museum and discover the many contributions of women to our community’s history in our exhibition, Annapolis: An American Story
  • Create a special craft celebrating Women’s History!
  • Read stories about inspiring women with your family in our Anne Arundel County Public Library Book Nook.

Drop-in anytime during program hours. See schedule of events for specific activities.
Advanced registration recommended, but not required. All activities are included with Museum admission.

Cost: $7 General Admission (8+); FREE for Children 7 and under, HA Members, and SNAP/WIC through the Museums for All program

Accessibility Considerations: An accessible entrance is available, located to the right of the building’s main entrance. All levels of the Museum, including the restrooms, are accessible via the elevator. KultureCity® Sensory Bags are available for visitors with sensory sensitivities or challenges with sensory regulation. 

Cancellation and Refund Policy: Historic Annapolis reserves the right to cancel or alter any programs. Unless otherwise stated, all tickets are non-refundable.

Photography Policy: Historic Annapolis reserves the right to take photographs and video footage of people of all ages at Historic Annapolis-sponsored events for publicity. If you do not wish to be photographed or filmed, please opt out by notifying Historic Annapolis staff.
