Where do buses drop off?
It’s recommended that buses load and unload on St. John Street near the corner of College Avenue. Buses can park at the USNA stadium (550 Taylor Ave).

How is the accessibility at your sites?
All our sites are in historic buildings. The Museum of Historic Annapolis is fully accessible with a ramp and elevator. The William Paca Garden terrace is also accessible. The William Paca House and Hogshead have multiple staircases. Please visit our Accessibility page for more information.
Are there restrooms?
Yes, there are accessible restrooms in the Museum of Historic Annapolis and the William Paca House. There are no restrooms at Hogshead Trades Museum or the Waterfront Warehouse.
Where can my group have lunch or snack?
The Paca Garden Terrace is available for groups to enjoy lunch or snacks brought from home or school. Additional costs may apply. Due to size constraints, lunch may be scheduled in rotations.
What is the etiquette for tours and visitors?
Tour etiquette is the practice of behaving in ways that honor the museum’s culture, protects the environment, and contributes positively to the group’s experience.
- Questions are welcome and encouraged!
- Please remind guests to wear comfortable/appropriate shoes for walking. Tours may include multiple sets of stairs, gravel paths, or uneven sidewalks between sites.
- For the comfort of all guests and the protection of the historic collections, please limit personal belongings to a small bag, purse, or backpack.
- If visiting the Maryland State House, please remind guests to bring their photo ID or driver’s license. ID is required by security to enter the State House building.
- Attendees must stay with their group at all times while walking through Annapolis and during tours inside HA properties.
- We encourage visitors to help to protect our collections at all sites. Please refrain from touching objects, sitting on antique furniture (areas to sit will be provided and noted), leaning on furniture or museum displays, and eating/drinking in unapproved areas.
- To help everyone enjoy the experience, please silence your cellphone before the tour begins.
- Photo opportunities are available in designated areas. When taking photos, please be mindful of other guests who may prefer not to be photographed.
