DESCRIPTION:What on earth is a vexillologist? Here’s a hint: Flag Day is their favorite day!  \nJoin us at the Hogshead Trades Museum for Flag Day to explore the Stars and Stripes\, the Flag of Maryland\, the John Shaw Flag\, and more… a great way to celebrate America 250! \nGuests can sew a star\, design a flag\, and try becoming a vexillologist for the day!  \nAnswer: A vexillologist studies flags; their history\, symbols\, and design  \nThis is a drop-in style program. Led by Historic Annapolis staff member Christina Chaffman\, we share ideas\, debate perspectives\, and enjoy thoughtful discussion while connecting over stories that make history feel vivid and relevant. This is a welcoming space where great books\, great conversation\, and a lot of fun come together. \nBook Club meetings take place on the third Thursday of each month.
